CARLETON RAVENS ATHLETES OF THE WEEK PROGRAM .

Jean Emmanuel Jean Marie, Men's Basketball and Heather Macdonald, Women's Swimming are the Carleton Ravens/Ottawa Senators Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 19th, 2006.

Jean Marie, a fourth year veteran Guard led Carleton to victories over Brock University, 80-64, and the University of Guelph, 76-69, to improve Carleton's record to 4-0 (2-0 at the Ravens' Nest) in the OUA East.

"Manny" led the Ravens with 48-points (high scorer in each game at 24-points per game), plus the Ottawa native pulled down 8 total rebounds, 2-assists in the victories over the OUA West opponents.

Macdonald, helped the Carleton University Women's Swim team to a fourth place finish at the 2006 OUA Enyon Division Championships with a team total of 349-points.

The third year Aero Engineering student, earned a Silver Medal in the 50meter Breaststroke, and Bronze Medal in the 100meter Breaststroke, in addition Heather finished fifth in the 200meter Breaststroke and just missed qualifying for her third straight trip to the CIS National Championships, in late February, 2007, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
